Justification for these tax table figures can be found on the California EDD Website.

From the top menu, select Setup > Accounting Options > Payroll. On the State & Local Taxes tab, select California and click Change. The following screen will appear:

These are general settings for California state tax withholding. Pay special attention to the settings in the Tax Calculation Defaults group. The settings for each individual tax calculation table are listed below.

Single Persons, Dual Income Married, or Married with Multiple Employers

Unmarried / Head of Household

Married Persons with 0 or 1 Exemptions

Married Persons with 2 or More Exemptions
