Utilities: Change System Password

The System Password is used to gain access to the user file. Any inserting, changing or deleting of user information is protected by the system password. The system password consists of one to ten characters.

The system password should be assigned with the following concerns in mind.

•Passwords should be items which are easy to remember.

•Passwords should be at least five characters long.

•Ultra-easy passwords such as social security numbers, phone numbers or birth dates should be avoided.

To change the system password, select Change System Password from the Utilities Menu, the following screen will come into view.

When a new system password is desired, it is necessary to type the old password in the Current Password field. The New Password field will be inaccessible until the correct Current password is entered. After that is done, type the new password in the New Password field.

This is the current password for the system.

New Password

Type the new password in the New Password field and press the OK button.
