Design Multi-Company Financial Statements

The Design Multi-Company Financials module allows the user to create Financial Statements with accounts from multiple companies. When Design Multi-Company Financials is selected from the General Ledger Menu, the following screen comes into view.

Add (button)

See Adding or Changing a Multi-Company Statement.

Change (button)

See Adding or Changing a Multi-Company Statement.

Delete (button)

Press the Delete button and the following screen comes into view. Press the Yes button and the highlighted record will be deleted and the previous screen comes into view. If the No button is pressed, the program returns to the previous screen.

Close (button)

Press the Close button to return to the main screen.

Adding or Changing a Multi-Company Statement

Press the Add or Change button and the following screen will come into view.

Statement Title

Enter a title to describe this Multi-Company Statement Format.

Available Companies

All available Companies will be listed in this area. Use the arrows to move Companies to and from this section.

Companies to Include

All Companies that have been selected for inclusion will be listed in this area. Use the arrows to move Companies to and from this section.

Design Financial Statement (tab)

Click on the Design Financial Statement tab and the following screen will come into view.

Line Item Description

This section displays a description for each line item.

Type

This section displays the Line Item Type.

Add (button)

Change (button)

Delete (button)

Press the Delete button and the following screen comes into view. Press the Yes button and the highlighted record will be deleted and the previous screen comes into view. If the No button is pressed, the program returns to the previous screen.

Duplicate (button)

To get started with a new multi company statement, first make sure at least the current company is selected in the Select Companies tab, then click this button. If the system has been set to Allow Multiple Financial Statement Formats, the system will allow the user to select which statement format to duplicate; otherwise, the system will immediately create a copy of the financial statement and move focus back to the Select Companies tab. When the Design Financial Statement tab is subsequently selected, the line items of the newly-created multi company financial statement will be in place.
