Manage Internet Updates
Select Manage Internet Updates from the Help menu and the following window will come into view.
This screen will list all program files stored on the internet server. Program files that have been updated on the internet but not yet downloaded to this computer are shown in red. The list box to the right shows individual program changes that have occurred during the current release for the highlighted program file.
Automatically Download Internet Updates
If this box is checked, the system will automatically check the www.a-systems.net website for new program updates each time the program is run. If updates are found they will be downloaded automatically and installed the next time the software is restarted.
Click this button to see a printout of all the changes to all the program files.
Click this button to immediately download and install a fresh copy of the program. The following window will appear:
After the new files are downloaded, the accounting program must be closed and restarted to complete the update.
There may come a time when a new copy of the update utility itself needs to be downloaded from the internet site. Click this button and the update utility program will immediately be downloaded and installed.
