One of the most exciting features of the accounting system is the Overview capabilities. These powerful screens provide a general overview of different sections of the accounting program, as well as the ability to drill down to deeper and deeper levels of detail.
There are seven main Overview screens, each with a specific purpose and target audience
This program allows management to view all aspects of the company's finances. This includes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging figures, Cash Account Balances, Financial Statement figures and Job Overview figures. Hot fields in each of these section serve as doorways into more detailed analysis screens.
This program allows the user to quickly view Accounts Receivable balances and all past due amounts.
This program allows the user to quickly view Accounts Payable balances, Discounts available, and all past due amounts.
This program provides the user a visual breakdown of Balance Sheets, Ratios, Income Statements, Burden Percentages, Job Profit, and Job Cost and Billing Totals.
The Accounting Overview program allows accounting personnel to quickly check the balance between the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Job Costing. Features are provided for automatically finding transactions that may cause discrepancies. A trial balance for any fiscal period can also be displayed.
This overview program gives Project Managers unlimited access to review contract, budget, and cost information regarding all jobs for which he or she is responsible. This is the same job information available through the Company overview screen, only it is limited to the Project Manager's jobs.
This overview program gives Job Superintendents access to budget and cost information regarding all jobs for which he or she is responsible. This is a limited view of the same job information available through the Company overview screen.
