Cost Code Information
These columns contain the cost code, cost type and grouping code. Each phase group is listed under the phase code name.
Cost Code
The Cost Code is listed.
Description
This column contains the description or Cost Code name.
Budget
This column contains the budgeted quantity for each Cost Code. If the Cost Code is a subcontract, the name of the subcontractor is printed instead of a quantity. This column will be empty if budgets were not requested.
Quantity
Last Report
This column contains the last reported quantity for each Cost Code.
This Report
This column should be used to enter the current quantity in place for each Cost Code. This field only applies to material, general and some labor codes where the unit is something other than ‘HOURS.’ When these codes were entered through job entry, it was specified whether quantity updates were to be taken from invoices or field reports. Those codes for which field reports were specified will have a blank line printed in the field to allow the project supervisor to specify the current quantity used or installed.
Unit Name
This column contains the unit of measure for the quantity listed.
% Complete or Completion Cost
Last Report
This heading will vary depending on the method selected to estimate the cost to complete in System Tailoring. This is the last figure entered for this code from the last field report entered.
This Report
This column is used for the supervisor to write a current percent complete, final completion cost, additional cost-to-complete, or extra cost for that budget item, depending on the Completion Cost Method specified in Job Costing Setup. These figures will be used by the system as the most accurate base from which to derive cost projections and budget analysis.
