New Features in Version 3.5 (December 2003)

Payroll was enhanced so that:

•Hand-written payroll check information (such as information exported from ADP) can be imported.

•The user can now provide a description for taxable and non-taxable other pay timesheet entries.

•Hot Keys have been added to the Tax and Accrual Codes windows in timesheet entry.

•Standard Deductions now show up on the Timesheet Proof Listing.

•When Direct Deposit is added to an employee, the first check run can be designated as a "Pre-Notification" in which an electronic test record is created for the bank, but a real paycheck is still printed.

•The employee photo can be printed on Employee Listing reports and Rotary Cards. Also, added a new Employee ID Card option to the employee listing limit screen.

•Many drop-down entry fields are available in the Employee Entry program. These drop-down fields allow the user to enter a new field value or select from a list of all previously entered field values.

•The exported W2 Magnetic Media file can now contain State wage and tax information.

Job Costing was enhanced so that:

•Many many drop-down entry fields are available in the Job Entry program. These drop-down fields allow the user to enter a new field value or select from a list of all previously entered field values.

•The Job Closing program now allows for Re-Opening jobs which were closed in error.

•Lost Cost Code Budget Records can now be recovered in the Job Cost Recalculation utility program.

•Job Cost Analysis reports now print the job ID at the top of each page.

•When duplicating an existing job in Job Budget Entry, the user can now select to duplicate Change Orders from the existing job.

•Budgeted cost codes can now be sorted by Group on the Job Entry screen.

•The Job Cost Change Order Listing can now be limited to by job activity status.

Accounts Payable was enhances so that:

•The Accounts Payable Lien Waiver printing program now sorts printable lien waivers in Vendor Number order.

•Description fields from individual AP Invoice line items now show up on the Job Cost Detail Listing.

•When entering a line item on an AP Invoice, the unit of measure from the Job Budget is displayed on the entry screen.

•The Job Name is displayed to the right of the Default Job field in A/P Trade Invoice Entry.

•A vendor search feature is available in the Automatic A/P Invoice Voiding list box.

DataView / FormMaker was enhanced so that:

•An option exists to print Job Billing Phases.

•Job User Defined fields are available in the DataView Job Cost Summary Report.

•A n ew DataView report on the Notes file is available.

•'Salesman' field is available in FormMaker's AR Invoice Report.

Accounts Receivable was enhanced so that:

•The t otals on the AR Aging Report make more sense.

•The default Sales Tax Rate in Setup Accounting Options now stores 4 decimals.

•The user can now move Draw Billing Phases up and down so they are ordered according to user preference.

Equipment Costing was enhanced so that:

•Equipment Usage Log Entry now remembers the previous Equipment ID when entering multiple log entries.

Purchase Order was enhanced so that:

•The person entering a new Purchase Order now automatically has their user name filled in as the Purchasing Agent.

•Purchase Orders may now be Purged.

•The default Purchase Order Tax Rate in Setup Accounting Options now stores 4 decimals.

Inventory was enhances so that:

•Drop-down capability has been added to the Category field in the Item Price file. This drop-down field allows the user to enter a new field value or select from a list of all previously entered field values.

•The Category field in the Item Price File has been increased from 10 to 20 characters.

•A 'Category' limit was added to all applicable Inventory Reports.

•Inventory Valuation Report now prints grand totals.

General enhancements:

•When posting transactions, the system now warns if the Posting Date does not fall within the date limits of the selected Posting Fiscal Period.

•The user can now print GL, Payroll, or AP Checks on-the-fly.

•TPSFix can now be run from the data file utilities window.
