New Features in Version 21.0 (April 2021)

Payroll

When adding a new timesheet, the employee can be picked by typing the employee External ID in the employee number field.

The list of timesheets on the timesheet batch entry window now includes the total number of hours entered for each employee timesheet.

When entering a handwritten check, the list of timesheet line items now includes columns for timesheet date and number of hours.

The Earnings Detail report can now include a “Summary by Pay Type,” which lists totals for regular pay, other pay, salary pay, etc.

A new setting for the Employee Listing report allows the user to limit the report to show only employees with wages in a specified year.

The Month End Union Report can now be filtered by job.

The list of timesheets in Timesheet Entry by Job can now be sorted by clicking on column headings.

Accounts Receivable

In the Customer Entry window on the History tab, a new tab has been added showing historical cash register receipts for this customer.

On the printed Progress Billing, the Job Address has now been added in the upper right-hand corner.

When Change Orders are itemized on the Progress Billing form, the system can now show how much has been billed on each change order.

Accounts Payable

On the 1099 printing window, a Golden Arrow button was added for exporting the list box information.

A new setting in the A/P Batch Setup window allows the user to specify which cost type will be the default for invoices entered into this batch.

A new checkbox in the A/P Batch Setup window allows the user to specify that only type “S” cost codes can be allowed on Subcontract Invoices.

A new option in Accounts Payable Setup allows the user to specify the “Default 1099 Setting for New Vendors.”

Job Costing

Date fields on the Job Cost Analysis Report limit window are now spin boxes with calendar lookup buttons.

On the Summary of Hours Worked at the bottom of the Job Cost Analysis Report, amounts charged to type “B” codes are now included in the Average Rate.

When adding Change Order Detail, the user can now enter a Quantity and a Unit Cost, the system will then calculate the amount.

On the Job Site tab in the Job Setup window, the user can now duplicate the Customer address information into the “Owner” fields.

The Job Cost Analysis Report, Cost & Revenue by Billing Phase format can now be filtered by Group Code.

General Ledger

In GL Transaction Entry, when a transaction is charged to a cost code with a “B” cost type, the user now has the option of specifying whether this is Regular or Overtime.

When Entering GL Accounts, the user can now select what type of account it is. (i.e. Fixed Asset, Current Liability, etc.)

Inventory

When doing an advanced search on the Item Price File Browse window, the user can now type multiple keywords and return only items that match all the entered keywords.

The Item Price File Browse list now includes a column for Standard Cost.

The user can now import Inventory Adjustments from a text file.

The user can now enter descriptions for the different pricing levels in the Item Price file.

The Inventory Valuation can now be sorted and subtotaled by Inventory GL Account.

When an Inactive item is selected from the Item Price File browse window, the user is now warned that the item is Inactive and asked if they wish to continue.

Cash Register

The user can now edit and delete settings for individual cash registers.

A new menu item has been added to the Cash Register menu titled, “View Cash Register History.” This displays a browse window containing all the posted cash register purchases. When viewing details for a particular sale, the user can reprint the cash register receipt.

When editing the details of a current cash register sale, the user can now click lookup buttons for Location and Area.

When entering a cash sale, a new Lookup Multiple Items button allows for selecting multiple items from the item price file to insert into the sale.

To-Do List

The method of selecting the “With” setting of the To-Do item has been improved. Employee, Vendor, Customer, etc. can now be picked from their respective full sortable lookup browse windows.

“Equipment” has been added as an option when selecting a “With” entity.
