New Features in Version 19.1 (July 2019)

General

When using "User Defined" limits on reports, the system now accepts a wildcard (*). User Conference Suggestion

The system now disallows a user from posting voids to the original fiscal period if the original fiscal period has subsequently been closed.

General Ledger

In the Fiscal Period browse window, you can now tag multiple fiscal periods and push a button to close all the tagged periods at the same time.

When printing a G/L Check Register that contains transactions from Payroll Direct Deposit postings, the system no longer itemizes each employee with a zero dollar credit from cash. It just shows the total credit for the direct deposit transfer.

On the Check Register window (arrived at by using the button on the check register printing browse window), clicking the View Details button on a Deposit transaction will now bring up deposit details.

The Fixed Asset Report printing limit window now allows the user to filter Fixed Assets using the “All / Range / List” style limit. User Conference Suggestion

The Chart of Accounts Listing now includes account Notes.

Payroll

The system now generates individual PDF documents for each direct deposit voucher during check printing.

The Earnings Detail report now has a limit to include or exclude the new Time Off section of the report.

When importing timesheets, the system can now convert hours over 40 per week to overtime, even when importing two weeks’ worth of time.

When adding equipment usage during timesheet entry, the Equipment description as well as the Job/Cost Code or Account description are now shown as the user sets these values.

The user can now instruct the Paycheck Printing procedure to print remaining Vacation/Sick hours even if the number of hours is zero.

The Payroll Check Register now shows detailed taxes (including Social Security and Medicare). User Conference Suggestion

Accounts Receivable

When you email a Contractor Draw Request, the system now uses the same settings used for emailing invoices. It fills in the email address and the subject line, and attaches the PDF version of the draw request.

When invoices are imported into a batch, the system will now notify the user if the imported invoice will push the customer over their credit limit.

In the Reconcile Posted Receipts browse window, a new column titled “Customer Balance ” lets the user see at a glance if there are sufficient invoices to reconcile against so they don’t need to double click on each one.

When creating a Trade Invoice from a contractor draw, the invoice cannot be altered until it is deleted or posted (just like the system already does with Progress Billings created from draws).

The checkbox in Receipts Entry for automatically distributing received amounts to invoices has been moved from the Receipts Entry browse window into the settings for each individual receipt batch. Now, different batches can have a different setting for distributing received amounts.

Each Receipts Batch now has a checkbox that allows the user to indicate whether the “Progress Billings Receipt” box in receipts entry will be checked by default when entering a new receipt.

When entering a Trade Invoice, the user can now click a button to mark all the line items with a “T” for taxable.

Accounts Payable

In the Void AP Checks window, the list box containing GL Information now includes a column containing the GL Transaction Number.

When posting AP Checks, the Check Register is now printed before the GL Summary of Check Posting.

When viewing a posted AP Invoice, the user can now click a button to Duplicate the invoice as an unposted invoice in an existing batch.

The Accounts Payable Check Register now includes the Invoice Date as well as the Invoice Number.

Job Costing

In Job Setup, if the user attempts to delete an AIA line item that already has a billed to-date amount on it, the system now displays a warning.

When Departmentalization is enabled, the system will issue a warning if the user attempts to save a Job that has not been assigned to a department.

An option titled “Mask Quantities” has been added to the limit windows for printing Analysis and Detail reports. This allows the user to instruct the report to not print quantities to-date on cost codes that have no quantity budget.

Overviews

When viewing an accounts payable invoice in the overview window, the Description field in the Invoice Information box is now editable.

The window for viewing Subcontract information from the Job Costing Overview now has column totals at the bottom of the numeric columns in the invoice list. Also, a column has been added for “Amount Paid.”

DataView

Added Vendor Email Address field to the Posted Invoice Detail view.

Added Equipment User Defined fields to all the Equipment Costing views.

Added Credit Hold checkbox field to the AR Customer Listing view.
